Lucky...

I am sitting next to my hubby watching the Indianapolis vs. San Diego football playoff game. Maya Papaya is sleeping like an angel and we are lucky to have a few minutes to spend time together. I am going to go exercise in a couple of minutes at our clubhouse and try to exercise at least 1 hour 6 times a week. I am going to try to lift weights so I can build up muscle. I am planning on running a half marathon by next year.
Josh is doing GI research right now. He is going to be published this spring in a journal and we are so excited about this. He works so hard and we are proud of him. :)

2 year appointment...

My friend Brooke Studier gave me this idea after sending me her blog. She has 3 sons and is a super mom.
Today was a wonderful day. The family went to Maya's 2 year appointment and she received her hepatitis A vaccination. It is amazing how much she has grown up. She was very cooperative with the doctor and was giggling and repeating everything he was saying. She played with the instruments with Daddy and climbed up to the examination table like it was no work at all. She is in the 50th percentile for height and 10th percentile for weight.
We then went to Cheap Charlie's which is a hole in the wall establishment and ate pancakes and eggs.
